This may be the wedding of Antz & Catriona, which happened on 24th May 2021 and was captured beautifully by Caro.

Their wedding was inspired by their love of nature, whimsical wildflowers and foliage, and slightly bohemian, laid-back styling.

"When they made my dress they sewed in little eyelets for that backpiece to add into. I purchased my dress in the feeltimes. It is important in my experience that my dress was lightweight, unrestrictive along with a pleasure to maneuver in, so I loved how unstructured and comfy the FeelTimes dresses are."

"So, it had been the first dress I tried on and absolutely nothing else I tried on after when compared with it. I loved the detailed soft stretch lace and also the warm nude lining that molded my figure and accentuated the best places. I felt the high neck and wedding dresses with sleeves elegant and timeless, whilst the reduced back added a little bit of excitement."

"Antz wore dark navy chinos, a grey linen shirt along with a textured dark blue/grey jacket having a subtle checked pattern through it. He had tanned shoes and a belt. His whole outfit was from Next. We had to order everything online during lockdown without trying anything on together – so everything worked out very well considering! He looked completely amazing."

"Humanist celebrant Claire Digance officiated over our ceremony and was truly amazing. She completely set the tone for that day to become relaxed, personal, and very exciting. She had everyone laughing and crying in equal measures. Our friends and family said they believed they'd been a part of something very special which they were amazed by Claire."

"We chose her as our photographer as she may be the most incredible storyteller through her imagery. We wanted images that captured the actual and special moments in our happy day – therefore we could treasure these memories forever. She just completely captured the feeling and essence of the day so perfectly – looking through our gallery is much like getting to relive our wonderful day. The pictures are extremely full of love and joy which's just how we remember our day."

"We met when I was a teenager coupled with the same part-time job in the local Brewers Fayre pub whilst school. Antz worked like a chef in the kitchen and I would be a waitress. After about six months of sneaked snacks and dessert-based chat, we became inseparable and also have been for that last 12 years."

"We spent our twenties studying after which traveling around the globe together on the shoestring budget. We've squeezed a lot of adventures and experiences into the last 12 years. We always discussed our future – and knew we'd get around to marriage one day – but I was never in a hurry."

"Antz inquired about marrying him at the beginning of December of 2018. It was an ideal proposal for me personally – so chilled-out, private and sentimental. He woke me up one morning having a coffee along with a letter to see in bed, within our first home that just spent annually renovating together."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Make your day your own. Think about why are you happy in everyday life and incorporate that into your day. Things have a method of playing out wonderfully even when they don't go ideally or perfectly to plan. So, do not stress, and ensure to enjoy everything. We're super jealous you've still got yours to visit."
